The country hosts three of the world's greatest mountain ranges;: the Himalayas, Karakorum and the Hindu Kush all meet in the Northern corner of the country. These ranges offer a wide range mountaineering options: from adventure rock climbing, light alpine climbing, to expeditions on 8000+ meter peaks.
